1. GENERAL POLICY

Viterra Systems (“Viterra”) is dedicated to providing quality products and dependable service. This Return Policy applies to all PVC pipe and related products manufactured or distributed by Viterra Systems.

All product returns are subject to the terms and conditions set forth below. By purchasing from Viterra, the customer agrees to comply with this Return Policy in full.

2 RETURNS PURCHASED THROUGH DEALERS OR DISTRIBUTORS

If the Product was purchased through a dealer, reseller, or authorized distributor, the customer must contact that dealer directly to initiate and process the return.

Viterra Systems cannot accept direct returns for Products purchased through independent dealers or distributors.

For Products purchased directly from Viterra Systems, please follow the procedures described in Sections 3–6 below.

3. ELIGIBILITY FOR RETURNS

  • All return requests must be submitted in writing and approved in advance by Viterra Systems’ Customer Service Department.
  • Only standard, unused, and resalable stock Products are eligible for return.
  • Products must be in their original packaging, undamaged, and free from signs of installation, exposure, or alteration.
  • Custom-fabricated, special-order, or non-stock items are non-returnable.
  • No returns will be accepted after thirty (30) calendar days from the original invoice date.
  • Unauthorized returns or returns that do not meet these conditions will be refused and returned at the customer’s expense.

4. RETURN AUTHORIZATION (RGA REQUIRED)

All returns must be accompanied by a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number issued by Viterra Systems prior to shipment.

Please include the following information:

  • Original invoice number and purchase date
  • Product description, size, and quantity
  • Reason for the return

Returned items must be shipped freight prepaid, unless otherwise authorized in writing by Viterra.

5. RESTOCKING AND HANDLING FEES

Approved returns are subject to a restocking fee of 0% to 15%, applied at Viterra’s discretion depending on the condition of the returned product, inspection results, and order history.

The customer is responsible for all freight and handling costs, including both outbound and return transportation charges.

6. INSPECTION AND CREDIT

  • Returned Products will be inspected upon receipt.
  • Credit will only be issued for items deemed resalable and in original condition.
  • Used, damaged, cut, or weathered Products will not qualify for credit.
  • Approved credits will be processed and applied to the customer’s account within a reasonable timeframe after inspection.
  • No cash refunds will be issued.

7. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following items are not eligible for return under any circumstances:

  • Custom or fabricated Products
  • Non-stock or special-order items
  • Cut pipe lengths or modified components
  • Used, damaged, or weathered Products
  • Products returned without prior authorization or a valid RGA number

8. FREIGHT AND RISK OF LOSS

Customers are responsible for ensuring that returned Products are properly packaged and protected during transit.

Viterra Systems is not responsible for any loss or damage that occurs during shipment.

All freight charges related to returned goods are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.

9. POLICY REVISIONS

Viterra Systems reserves the right to modify, amend, or update this Return Policy at any time without prior notice.
