Coverage

Viterra Systems warrants that the products we supply are free from defects in material and workmanship and meet their published applicable standards at the time of shipment. This warranty extends to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

Warranty period

Unless a longer manufacturer warranty is stated in the product’s published documentation, Viterra products are covered by a limited warranty for five (5) years from the date of shipment. Where a manufacturer provides a longer term, that manufacturer warranty governs and is passed through to the original purchaser.

What is covered

This warranty covers genuine manufacturing defects in material and workmanship in products supplied by Viterra Systems, when stored, handled and installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and the applicable industry standards.

What is not covered

This warranty does not apply to damage, failure or non-conformance arising from:

• Improper installation or installation not in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions or applicable code.
• Misuse, abuse, accident, neglect or operation outside published ratings.
• Modification, alteration, machining or repair of the product after shipment.
• Chemical or thermal exposure beyond the product’s rated pressure, temperature or chemical-resistance limits.
• Normal wear, weathering or cosmetic marks that do not affect performance.
• Third-party components, materials or workmanship not supplied by Viterra Systems.

How to make a claim

To start a warranty claim, contact our sales team with your proof of purchase (order or invoice number), the product description or SKU, and clear photos of the defect and any product markings. Call (626) 261-4868 or email Sales@viterrasystems.com. Our team will review the claim and advise on the next steps, including any return authorization required.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty is, at Viterra’s option, replacement or refund of the affected product. Viterra Systems is not liable for labor, removal, reinstallation, downtime, or any incidental, special or consequential damages.

Standards

Products are represented as meeting the applicable ASTM, NSF, UPC, UL, CSA and AWWA standards in effect at the time of shipment, as published in the relevant product documentation and datasheets. Standards compliance does not extend warranty terms beyond those stated above.
